Oyé started riding a bike when he was 5 or 6 and has never stopped.  Beginning 13 years ago Oyé started cycling with abiding passion.  He raced for three years on the Collegiate and USCF circuits, has ridden stages of the Tour de France, Giro d' Italia, Tour de Suisse, and Amstel Gold Race and has cycled in countries around the world, including Eritrea, Africa where he covered the 2005 Tour of Eritrea.  He brings 10 years of experience in Bike Retail and Service from successive stints at Wheelworks in Massachusetts and holds a mechanics certification from United Bicycle Institute in Ashland, Oregon.

OYE CARR - OWNER / OPERATOR

Sekai has been riding a two-wheeler since he was 3 years old.  An avid commuter he rides to school most of the year and is looking forward to a faster multi-speed bike so he can keep up with his Dad.  When not chasing his sister, watching Clone Wars, Batman, Ben 10, or Bakugan, Sekai trains as a mechanic and Wheelsmith. 

SEKAI TULLY CARR - APPRENTICE MECHANIC

So I beat my brother to riding two wheels by four months.  That felt good but there’s more in store for 2010.  Stay tuned. Still making sure that all MODSquad kids bikes have been assembled correctly for your child.  If I can't break it, it's good to go.  Looking to get more into the business side of things.  Maybe a lemonade stand outside the store during the summer.

MAHDIA TULLY CARR - CRASH TESTER

If you're a parent Danielle is a good person to ask about kids' stuff.  She's tried it all and has strong opinions about what's good and what isn't.  In fact, if it's in our store, that's because Danielle tried it and liked it.  An avid biker, she regularly commutes the length of Manhattan by bike and is generally good for 50 road miles, regardless of her condition.  She has ridden stages of the Tour de France and conquered Tuscany's bianchi strade.  Danielle likes to think of herself as Oyé's domestic deluxe but in fact he's been known to ask her to slow down.

DANIELLE TULLY - OWNER / SALES

Legend has it that Daniel Brauer was born riding a bicycle.  In actuality, he was born in Minneapolis and was riding a (fixed gear) bike at 3,  He spent the majority of his formative years just across the Mississippi in West St. Paul, riding everything including BMX, mountain, road, and track bikes.  Dan loves riding in the city (if it weren’t for all those pesky automobiles), and has worked at bike shops in the Twin Cities, Boston, and NYC.
